Program Duration: One Month
Class Times: Wednesdays 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM or Fridays 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Each class is a two-hour, hands-on farm experience. Students will actively participate in daily farm tasks such as feeding animals, cleaning and caring for living spaces, and learning proper animal handling and husbandry. Every class will include a different farm task based on seasonal needs, giving students real-life exposure to how a working homestead operates.
In addition to structured activities, each class includes 30 minutes of free time. During this time, students are encouraged to bring a book, journal, or simply enjoy quiet moments observing and spending time with the animals. This intentional quiet time helps foster connection, reflection, and a calm relationship with the farm environment.
This program is designed as a farm mentorship, giving students the opportunity to explore and guide their own learning based on their interests. Participants can learn about starting and managing farming projects, and when they are ready, they may even have the chance to launch small farm-based businesses.
Maximum of 5 students per class
